'Life is what happens while you're busy doing other things.' - John Lennon
Chad Carnahan grew up in a small town just east of the Sabine River. Sulphur, Louisiana is also where Dak Prescott was born.
Chad Carnahan graduated from Centenary College in Shreveport. He moved to Richardson in 1990, and this is where he raised his family.
He has spent most of his life in independent business, first in marketing and sales promotion, and later in wholesale distribution. He created major marketing programs for several divisions of General Motors before establishing a product and service company for small businesses that perform vehicle repair.
Chad’s expertise in small business development and job creation will be his priority as a state representative. His passion for limited government and free market solutions will guide him. He is a tireless advocate for lower taxes, secure borders, school choice, the sanctity of life, and the 2nd amendment.
Chad is a member of First United Methodist Church of Richardson. His two children, Brian and Katie, are grown and successful. His daughter blessed him with a grandchild last year.
